Very nice! It’s such a simple concept, but you’re right - it gives you a huge jump start on the day. To your conscious mind, you’re just planning a little further in advance, but the extra effort is repaid many times over.
Sometimes I’ll dream of the exact situation I have to face the next day, and it makes me feel more prepared (as if I’ve already done it - an important presentation, etc).

You know everyone that has read anything self-help knows to plan the night before if you want to work effectively but most of us don’t. Funny thing I was just thinking about this today, yesterday, I planned my tasks for the day the night before, I thought about what I wanted to do and how and guess what by noon I was done with everything. Today, not so good, did not plan last night and what did I end up doing, well, I don’t want to use any bad words on your nice blog.
Thanks for the reinforcement, I am going to plan my week.
