What is the relationship between thoughts, emotions and ?

Visualization is the process of creating compelling and vivid pictures in your mind. Creative visualization is visualizing a mental image of a desired object or situation.

Going back to the Law of Attraction, I attract to my life whatever I give my energy, attention and focus, whether wanted or unwanted - by visualizing a mental image of a desired object or situation, I can attract it into my life.

Feelings and emotions put life into thoughts and create powerful visualization. Thoughts that are charged with emotional energy have greater affect.

We can choose our thoughts. Our thoughts can affect our emotions.
We can choose our emotions. Our emotions can affect our thoughts.
By choosing our thoughts and emotions we can create powerful, supercharged visualizations and powerful results.

Remember, thoughts become things.

Brain Entrainment

Brain Entrainment

Research shows that when two different frequencies are presented to each ear through stereo headphones(binaural beats),the entire brain becomes entrained to a frequency equal to the difference between the two tones. For example, frequencies of 200 hz and 220 hz produce a binaural beat frequency of 20hz.

What can we use entrainment for?

Lucid dreams,altered states, meditative states, increased intuition and awareness, accelerated learning, elimination of insomnia; we can use sound waves to carry us into the higher frequencies of consciousness, where profound can take place.

Electrical activity in your brain can be measured by EEG (electroencephalography).

The electrical activity changes depending on what a person is doing.

BETA waves (14 - 100 Hz) dominate the normal waking state of consciousness. When attention is directed towards the outside world.

ALPHA waves (8-13.9 Hz) are present during dreaming and light meditation when the eyes-are closed. Alpha is also the state in which the window frequency known as the Schuman Resonance occurs. This is the frequency of the earth’s magnetic field.(More on this later.)

THETA waves (4-7.9 Hz) occur in dreaming sleep.

DELTA waves (.1 to 3.9 Hz) are experienced in deep meditation and deep sleep.

If you can make your brain wave patterns change at will, you can create conditions that are better suited for certain types of activities.

Meditation

Meditation balances the brain through some form of focusing, such as repeating a prayer or mantra, focusing on breathing, staring at a candle or other point of focus, or by many other techniques. As a person meditates, they move from a beta brain wave to an alpha. With (much) practice, the person meditating moves into the deeper theta and finally delta state and experiences expanded awareness and transcendental states.

Brain entrainment using auditory stimuli allows this process to happen much quicker and easier.

Lucid Dreaming

Lucid dreaming is when a person is aware that he or she is dreaming while the dream is in progress. During lucid dreams, it is often possible to exert control over the dream characters and environment, as well as to perform otherwise physically impossible feats.

Lucid Dreaming usually takes place in REM sleep. Brain entrainment can facilitate the brain wave states found in naturally occurring sleep cycles, including REM.

What They Live can tell you about Affirmations

Have you seen the movie “They Live”? Its a B movie starring Roddy Piper. A down and out loner discovers a pair of sunglasses and when he puts them on, he sees that there are aliens all around, taking over the world, controlling what people do with subliminal messages like “obey”, “marry and reproduce”, etc

If I gave you a pair of sunglasses so you could see your “subliminal” messages, what would they be? “I”m not good at math” “I don’t remember names very well.” “I’m not good with money.” We talk to ourselves all the time and the first step to changing our self-talk is to listen to ourselves and replace our defeating self-talk with positive affirmations.

What are positive affirmations?

Affirmations are statements of desirable intention, deliberately meditated on and repeated to implant in the mind. are stated in the present and are stated in the positive. Using affirmations is not a magical,woo-woo process. You use affirmations all the time. For example, you decide to buy a car. First of all you start to think “Wouldn’t it be nice to have a new car” Then you start thinking more positively. “I can afford it.” Then you start to thinking of the car you want. (Some of us go right to this step.)

Here are three ways to use affirmations

Words - Repetition

Write your on a small piece of paper. Keep your affirmation in the present tense. To powercharge an affirmation, repeat the affirmation 1000 times.

Pictures

Create or find a picture that embodies your affirmation. Spend a little time to relax and look at the picture. Feel the emotions as you imagine what it is you want to achieve.

Visualization

Create a daydream, a full color, full-emotion movie in your mind of what it would be like. For example if my affirmation is to be a confident, powerful speaker, I imagine in my mind a scenario of speaking in front of a group, the speech is fantastic and everyone applauds enthusiastically.

Law of Attraction - Some quicknotes and directions.

What is The Law of Attraction ?

I attract to my life whatever I give my energy, attention and focus, whether wanted or unwanted. The key here is wanted or unwanted. When we focus on the negative, we attract more of it. When we focus on the positive, we attract more of it. Why do we use the ? To attract more of what we want and less of what we don’t want.

3 Steps of the Law of Attraction

1) Identify your desire - What do you want?

2) Give your energy, attention and focus on what you want

3) Allowing the Law of to work - no limiting beliefs or negative vibrations. Believe & Allow.

Step 1 - Get Clear on What You Want

Here is a quick check to see if you are clear on what you want. Open your wallet or your purse. Now take out your goal card. What, no goal card? What about on your screensaver, or beside the mirror, or on the ceiling when you wake up? If you don’t know where you are going, how are you going to get there? When we get to step two, you are going to focus your thoughts, words, images and emotions on your goals. You can’t do that without goals .

Step 2 - Raising your Vibration

When we choose our thoughts, visualizations and emotions, we can choose a positive or negative vibration. Our attracts like energy. attracts positive energy and situations, just as negative vibrations attract negative energy and situations.

A)Thoughts

We can choose our thoughts. One way we can change our vibration is to change our thoughts. You can actually choose your thoughts. Try it right now. Think of someone whom you love and who loves you. Think of the last time you did something noble, you did something for someone without anyone knowing. How does this change how you feel, your vibration?

What thoughts are you repeating and making stronger? What “neuronets” are you developing? Another way to change your thoughts is by using affirmations. Using affirmations is not a magical, woo-woo process. Everyday you use affirmations, either positive or negative. “I’m not very good at math.”, “I like to swim.”, “I’m not very good at public speaking.” I am a great singer ” “I can’t visualize.” “I can do this.” The best definition of affirmation is a statement that describes your goal in its completed state.

B) Visualization

Visualization activates the powers of your subconscious mind and allows you to attract the people, resources and opportunities you need to reach your goals. Create a snapshot of what you would like to achieve. See things just as you would like them to be. Hear the sounds you would be hearing. Smell, taste, touch just as it was real. Remember, visualization, like any other skill, takes practise. Don’t worry if it feels a little uncomfortable - you will get better at it. Use an affirmation. “I am great at visualization. i picture my achievements easily and clearly”

C)Emotions

Emotions supercharge your affirmations and visualizations.

Here’s how to combine all 3 (thoughts, visualizations and emotions) to raise your vibration and start using the Law of Attraction.

i) Read out loud, if possible, your affirmation.

ii) Visualize - place yourself into your affirmation, picture it just like your there.

iii)Feel the emotions - what do you feel, as you achieve your goal?

What you think and what you feel is what you manifest.

Step 3 - Allowing the Law of Attraction to Work

Think about pouring a bottle of wine. How much pours out with the cork still in it? It doesn\’t matter how hard you try. You can jump up and down, scream and stomp your foot - the wine still doesn’t come out with the cork in.

Allowing is the absence of doubt.

Some affirmations are easy to repeat and believe - you can feel there is no doubt.

What about those affirmations you have doubt?

i) Rewrite your affirmation - Change the affirmation so you can believe it. For example - Instead of “I am a millionaire ” change it to “I am becoming a millionaire” or “I am in the process of becoming a millionaire .”

ii) Focus on yourself - Instead of focusing on attracting on what you want, focus on attracting who you are becoming, in order to attract what you want. For example, if you want a relationship, instead of focusing on attracting that special person, instead focus on being the special person and you will attract that special relationship. Instead of focusing on attracting a million dollars, focus on becoming the person who has the neccessary attributes to be a millionaire.

Gratitude - Remember, as you use the Law of Attraction, to be grateful for all that you have and all that you are attracting into your life.

Law of Attraction - A question for you.

I have a question for you. Its about the [TAG-ICE]Law of Attraction[/TAG-ICE]. Do we attract everything that happens to us in our lives? Some people say YES - on a conscious or unconscious level everything we experience in our lives we have attracted. But I am not so sure. Here are three possible answers to this question.

1) YES(see above).

Either consciously or unconsciously, we attract everything we experience in our lives. But the problem with this is for example, does a 3 year old who gets abused attract this to themselves? What about horrendous events like 911? I have a real problem with attributing the cause of a horrendous event to the victim. This brings us to explanation #2.

2) - Its not necessarily the victim who attracts the event but instead its society as a whole that attracts events. When many individuals fear or focus on possible events, this attracts that particular event. For example, because there is a focus on violence in society, for example, the daily news channel, we see this reflected in violence throughout our society. This removes the “blame” for an unwanted event from the individual and places it on society as a whole.

#3) Sometimes bad(or good) things happen. - Because we live in a physical dimension If I create my reality and you create your reality, then at some point these intersect, what you do may affect me and vica-versa. Think of a pool table, where each ball has a trajectory unless it collides with another ball. The difference being that one, we choose our trajectory by our actions (one of these actions is using the Law of Attraction and focusing on what we want to attract). The other difference is that , unlike a pool ball, we can choose our reaction, adjust our trajectory.

For me I choose # 3. I believe that I live in this world where many individuals are simultaneously co-creating their reality. I believe that using the can help me to create the life I want AND help me to help others create the lives they want at the same time. I also believe that using the Law of Attraction will help me attract the circumstances I want and the people who I can co-create with. I also believe that each individual, as they create their life, they affect the whole world. As individuals we contribute and affect the larger whole. Think of individuals who have have affected the entire planet by taking individual action which in turn changes many lives. What do you think? Do we attract everything into our lives?
