Find your passion and purpose

What do you want to be when you grow up? Do you remember when you were little and you could be anybody you wanted? Are you following your passion and purpose ? Have you said to yourself ” Someday I’m going to…” My question for you is WHEN? When are you going to decide that you want more out of life and take action?
The first step is to decide your purpose.
“First say to yourself what you would be; and then do what you have to do.” - Epictetu
Are you in touch with your true purpose in life? Do you know what activities, settings, and kinds of people most interest you? Are you clear on your greatest talents, personal strengths, and special qualities? Do you understand what your core values are?
“But I can’t just drop everything, I’ve got responsibilities, a job, people to take care of……”
You don’t just flip a switch and there it is. Living a life of passion and purpose does not happen in one giant leap. Instead it happens in small steps. Think about where you are and where you want to be and move towards it. Step by step, you will be there.
Life purpose is not only found at work. Or should I say, seldom found at work. You may find your life purpose through volunteering. It might be found through your hobby - art, photography, writing, etc. Many successful entrepreneurs have found their life purpose through their business.
How to Find Your Life Purpose
Actually, you don’t have to find your life purpose . You already know what it is. Do you remember a game when you were little & you were trying to find something someone had hid. “Warmer” “Colder, your getting colder.” “Warmer” “HOT”
What you need to do is listen to that little voice. What is it telling you right now? Are you living a life of purpose and joy? Its OK, if the little voice says “Cold, freezing cold”. Just start moving your life a little each day towards your purpose - doing what you love and loving what you do. What brings you and those around you the greatest joy?
Warmer, warmer, now you are getting close…
